Shakib Al Hassan, an all-rounder from Bangladesh, will not be available for Peshawar Zalmi’s remaining PSL 8 matches.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that Shakib will have to leave the PSL 2023 halfway through owing to a family emergency.
Shakib Al Hasan of Peshawar Zalmi had to leave the squad to address a family emergency in the United States, and Azmatullah Omarzai took his place, according to PCB.
According to the statement, “The Bangladesh all-rounder would return to the Pakistan Super League for the Playoffs in the event Peshawar Zalmi qualified.”
Shakib, meanwhile, experienced disappointment at quitting the Zalmi squad. I have to temporarily leave the PSL 8 to attend to a crucial personal situation,” he said. I am aware of my loyal local fanbase and was eager to play every game in front of them all.
