According to media reports, the cabinet division has started making preparations for Pakistan’s Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, which are scheduled to take place on April 22.
Reports state that requests for four to five Eid holidays will be forwarded to the Prime Minister’s Residence, and he will decide when and how many holidays will be granted the next week.
According to reports, if Eid falls on a Friday, holidays would be given from April 20 to 23. The holiday could be moved from April 20 to April 24 if Eid falls on a Saturday. It is anticipated that the official notice of the holidays will be published soon.
It is crucial to keep in mind that the Ruet-i-Hilal Research Council (RHRC) has forecast that the nationwide celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr would occur on Saturday, April 22, following 30 days of Ramadan fasting.
