The caretaker government in Punjab has decided to alter the summer break timetable for 2023, which is a setback for eager school-going youngsters.
According to a report published by Lahore News, all public and private educational institutions will start their summer breaks one week later than originally planned.
Earlier, there had been indications of two months of vacations, from June 1, 2023, to May 31, but the news now indicates that the vacations will begin on June 6, 2023.
According to the source, the interim chief minister Mohsin Naqvi would be given a summary of the updated summer holiday schedule 2023 that has been finalized by the School Education Department.
Later this month, CM Naqvi and SED representatives will decide on a date and make the announcement.
