Bilawal introduces loans with no interest

GHOTKI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has announced the introduction of an interest-free lending program in Sindh. On Wednesday, the PPP chairman spoke at a ceremony in Ghotki to award homes to those impacted by floods in Sindh. He said that two weeks ago, the Sindh government began a scheme to offer proprietary rights to construct homes. In locations where homes were destroyed by rain and flooding, Bilawal announced that the government will erect concrete homes.

He stated that when the devastating floods hit Pakistan last year, Sindh was the hardest-impacted province. In Sindh, he predicted, women will have more power. He said that the provincial government offers interest-free loans to all residents of the province.

Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister, stated that 24 of Sindh’s 27 districts suffered flooding on this occasion. He claimed that farmers were the group in society that was most impacted. The UN secretary general visited Pakistan to view the extensive damage brought on by the floods, according to him, because of Bilawal’s efforts as PPP chairman. He said that the Sindh government had received funding for the construction of hospitals and schools. He said that the loan from Asian Bank was used to improve schools all around the province.
