LAHORE: The “Excellence Scholarship Programme” for the upcoming academic year 2024–2025 has been announced by the Government of Switzerland in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), which is good news for Pakistani students.
According to sources at the HEC local chapter, scholarships have been made open to one-year post-master’s research, three-year post-master’s, PhD, and one-year Post-Doctoral Programmes (PDP).
September 30 is the final day to submit applications to the Swiss embassy. The official website has further information, according to local HEC sources who spoke to APP.
The major goal of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships is to provide master’s and PhD completion opportunities for abroad researchers.
The Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students will oversee the hiring of scholarship recipients.
