A new four-year BS degree program in Mass Communications to be offered by the University of Karachi (KU) has been announced.
BS Digital Media Marketing admissions will be available for the 2024 year of study, according to KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi.
At a ceremony held in the Department of Mass Communication’s Sarwar Naseem Hall, the degree was announced. Digital media marketing is essential and Dr. Iraqi said that young people should take this course.
A BS in Poultry Science, a BS in Public Health, a BS in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a BS in Medical Laboratory Technology, and a BS in Sports Business Management this year are just a few of the degree programs that the university has added in recent years. He additionally addressed his other statements.
The university has chosen to allow graduates to enroll in BS DMM, just like students who have finished their intermediate education, due to the importance of BS Digital Media Marketing.
According to Dr. Asmat Ara, the chair of the Department of Mass Communication, KU is the first public university in the nation to offer this degree.
During the event, other speakers included Dr. Asif Iqbal, President of the Digital Marketing Association of Pakistan, and Manzar Ilahi, Head of Digital Output Geo Pakistan, who spoke about the significance of digital media marketing.
