Over 2.2 million South Zone Punjab beneficiaries would receive an increase of Rs10,500 in the quarterly installment of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Kifalat scheme.
Sheikh Muhammad Ameen, the Zonal Director of BISP South Zone, shared his opinions with the media during their conversation.
He explained that the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) used to give families that registered with it a quarterly installment of Rs 8,750; however, the government of Pakistan has raised that amount to Rs 10,500.
He said the families registered with the BISP would receive their third quarter installment of the current financial year.
As there was zero tolerance for corruption, the BISP teams would continue to be on the ground overseeing the quarterly installment of the Kifalat program. In reaction to any complaint about financial assistance deductions against any retailer, he promised to take severe legal action.
