The Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 official anthem, which is set to begin on February 17, will be sung by well-known singer Ali Zafar.
The celebrity appears in a video doing the melody to “Ab Khel Jamay Ga,” one of his PSL anthems, which the franchise league posted on X, formerly Twitter.
“Bajay ge seeti tou. Excitement for the [HBL PSL 9] Anthem Countdown! The official HBL PSL anthem 2024 will include Ali Zafar’s amazing performance, according to PSL.
Whether the PSL 9 Anthem will be a solo or duet has not yet been confirmed.
Furthermore, the PSL 9 Anthem’s release date is yet unreliable but with only fourteen days left till the start of the amazing, soon be released.
Notably, Ali Zafar sang the first three editions of the HBL PSL anthems, “Ab Khel Ke Dikha,” “Ab Khel Jamay Ga,” and “Dil Se Jaan Laga De.”
The fans were very supportive of the aforementioned anthems.
For the next five anthems, however, the singer was replaced by several other popular artists, including Atif Aslam, Ali Azmat, Fawad Khan, Aima Baig, Asim Azhar, Naseebo Lal, Shae Gill, and Young Stunners.
even though those anthems had some of the best voices in the nation, PSL fans were unhappy and continued to call for Ali Zafar’s return.
It is essential to note that the PSL 9 will take place in four cities in 2024: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, from February 17–18.
The tournament’s first match between the reigning champion Lahore Qalandars and the two-time champions Islamabad United will take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
On March 18, the six-team tournament’s final match will take place in Karachi’s beautiful National Bank Stadium.
