Gold prices in Pakistan hit a New high

Pakistan’s gold prices increased sharply in line with global rates, hitting an all-time high on Tuesday.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that the price of gold peaked at Rs363,700, up Rs5,900 in a single day.

Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs5,059, reaching Rs311,814 in the end.
The significant increase of Rs8,100 per tola on Monday caused gold prices to reach a record high of Rs357,800.

Gold prices also reached a record high on the global market. According to APGJSA, the global rate increased by $59 during the day to $3,454 per ounce (including a $20 premium).

On the other hand, the price of silver on the local market stayed at Rs3,441 per tola.

Meanwhile, spot gold had risen as high as $3,500.05. By 1025 GMT, it was up roughly 1% at $3,457.12 an ounce. At $3,469.50, US gold futures increased 1.3%.

Palladium surged 1.8% to $944.27, platinum increased 1% to $971.40, and spot silver remained stable at $32.68 an ounce.
