Gold prices reach new peak in Pakistan

According to local market data, gold prices in Pakistan surged to a record high on Wednesday after rising strongly for the second day in one day.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold prices increased by Rs8,600 per tola, to Rs348,000.

In the same way, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs7,373 to Rs298,353.

On the international front, gold prices also increased by $46, hovering around $3,310 an ounce.

Both the domestic and global markets saw increases in the price of gold on Tuesday. The price of one ounce of gold rose by $6 to $3,224 on the global bullion market.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs514, reaching Rs290,980 in Pakistan.
