Gwadar: Soldier martyred,16 injured as Baloch mob attacks security forces

On Monday, security forces personnel in Gwadar district were assaulted by a violent mob identified as members of the so-called “Baloch Raji Muchi.

” The attack resulted in the death of Sepoy Shabbir Baloch, 30, from Balochistan’s Sibi district, according to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The unprovoked assault injured sixteen soldiers, including an officer. Meanwhile, social media has been inundated with doctored images and videos, spreading false and malicious propaganda to gain sympathy and support for the unlawful march.

“Security forces have shown extreme restraint to avoid unnecessary civilian casualties despite provocations,” said the military’s media wing. “The violent actions of the mob are unacceptable, and those responsible will be held accountable.”

Citizens are encouraged to stay calm, avoid being misled by propaganda, and cooperate with law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety and order.

“Pakistan’s Security Forces, alongside the nation, are resolute in their efforts to prevent any attempts to undermine peace and stability in Balochistan,” the ISPR statement concluded.
