The Pakistan Army has earned a gold medal at the renowned Cambrian Patrol 2024 military exercise, held in Wales, United Kingdom, as announced by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Celebrating its 65th anniversary, the exercise took place from October 4 to 13, maintaining its reputation for rigorous professional standards.

According to the ISPR, the event featured 128 teams from 42 countries, all of whom faced the challenge of navigating challenging terrain, covering a 60-kilometre distance within 48 hours, while completing a variety of specialized tasks.

Amid intense competition, the Pakistan Army’s team stood out with an exceptional performance, securing the gold medal and demonstrating the military’s high level of training and operational prowess.

The Cambrian Patrol is a scenario-driven exercise focused on missions, assessing teams on their battlecraft skills, individual training, resilience, and leadership.

It consists of eight phases, each lasting 48 hours, during which teams traverse a 60-kilometre route while carrying 32kg per person.

The ISPR celebrated this accomplishment as a moment of pride for Pakistan, showcasing the military‘s well-known professionalism and preparedness.
