In the 17th game of the Bangladesh Premier League, the Comilla Victorians defeated Dhaka Dominators. Victorians scored a difficult total of 184/4 and prevailed by a score of 33 runs. Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman, who was batting first, held the innings together with his 55 off 47 deliveries, remaining unbeaten.
Additionally, they reached a par score thanks to helpful contributions from Imrul Kayes (33), Johnson Charles (20), and Khushdil Shah (64 off 24 balls). Today Khushdil was aggressive and smacked bowlers all around the park. Ahmed Shehzad got off to a good start and looked solid for his 19 but was ran out just as he was trying to push on, and in response, Dominators were not that far behind their opponents. Following that, Soumya Sarkar and Robin Das returned to the hut without bothering the scorers, which knocked them back and brought the innings to an abrupt end.
Nasir Hossain nearly led his team to victory with his outstanding 66-run performance, but he was left stranded at one end due to his inability to control the asking rate. Mohammad Mithun persevered for 34 deliveries and added 36 runs to keep his side in the game.
Only using 17 deliveries, Ariful Haque completed 24. However, the pair struggled against some outstanding death bowling, and the boundaries stopped coming toward the conclusion of the innings.
