On Friday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast rain in Punjab from August 13 to August 16.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s spokesperson, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Mandi Bahauddin may see severe rainfall. Thunderstorms and rain are also possible in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Murree, and Galyat.
While there is a chance of monsoon showers in the state from August 13 to August 16, the majority of Punjab’s regions will continue to be hot and muggy.
The Punjabi rivers Chenab, Ravi, Jhelum, and Sutlej, on the other hand, are flowing within a normal range, according to the spokesperson, who gave information about the state of the other rivers.
There is a low-level flood in the Sindh River in Tonsa, which is close to Toussa, and the Tarbela and Mangla dams are 95 percent full.
