On Wednesday, the price of gold in Pakistan dropped for the third day in a row this week, ending at Rs. 218,700 a tola.
The price of gold (24 carats) declined by Rs. 1,800 per tola to Rs. 218,700, according to data issued by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs. 1,543 to close at Rs. 187,500.
Gold’s price hasn’t decreased significantly, but Wednesday was the third straight day this week that it did. The price of gold decreased by Rs. 1,000 per tola on Monday, and the precious metal also experienced a slight fall of Rs. 200 per tola on Tuesday.
The price of gold has now decreased by Rs. 3,000 per tola overall throughout the current week as a result of today’s decline.
By 12:15 GMT, spot gold on the global market had down by 0.1 percent to $1,934.29 per ounce, while US gold futures had decreased by 0.1 percent to $1,945.30.
