Shakib Al Hasan, the top cricket player from Bangladesh, has joined Peshawar Zalmi in the supplemental category.
The PSL 8 kicked off today with a match between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans, but before Peshawar Zalmi’s opening encounter of the competition, they recruited another outstanding performer to their camp.
The top cricketer from Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan, has committed to play for Peshawar Zalmi in the next Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.
Shakib will be available for selection on Tuesday for the game against Karachi Kings as a reserved supplemental pick. He will only be available until February 26 and won’t play in the full league. He is anticipated to strengthen the already potent lineup, which is captained by Babar Azam.
Shakib will provide the team with a new level of energy and excitement with his all-around abilities and expertise.
At Karachi’s National Stadium, Peshawar Zalmi will open their season on February 14 against the Karachi Kings.
