Shehroze Kashif is a renowned mountaineer from Pakistan who has set two Guinness World Records for his remarkable achievements.
At the age of 20 years and 67 days, Kashif broke the record for becoming the youngest person to climb the three tallest mountains. On May 16, 2022, he reached the summit of Kangchenjunga.
As Kashif finished his climb of Makalu on May 28, 2022, at the age of 20 years and 78 days, he broke another record by becoming the youngest person to climb the higher 8,000ers.
He posted, “Alhamdulilah, 2 more records,” to his Twitter account. Youngest climbers of the world’s highest 3 and highest 5 peaks. There will be many more.
The Lahore-born mountaineer, commonly referred to as “The Broad Boy,” is the only Pakistani mountaineer to conquer three peaks higher than 8000 meters in a single month.
As the youngest person to ever climb both K2 and Mount Everest, Kashif currently owns two Guinness World Records. He was also the first person from Pakistan to climb the Kanchenjunga Peak.
By climbing the second-highest mountain at the age of 20 in July 2021, Kashif beat the previous record set by Sajid Sadpara, the son of the famous climber Muhammad Ali Sadpara.
