We have good news for you if you missed Zahid Ahmed on your television; the Ghabrana Nahi Hai actor is currently starring in the drama-comedy 101 Talaqain. In it, he plays a divorce lawyer who must negotiate numerous failing relationships while identifying the root of the issues.
Discover a world of dark humor and satire as Zahid Ahmed, aka Rustom Kavasji, decodes the fractures of marriage, according to the trailer for the next program that debuted on Sunday. In the entertaining two-and-a-half-minute short, a variety of couples discuss their respective marriages’ breaking points while Ahmed keeps an eye on everything and occasionally comes in with his viewpoint.
He starts by explaining that partnerships can bring you both joy and pain. Later, when many couples are shown, the camera pans between them, showing how their marriage has evolved from love to hate. With statements like “[you’re] getting intolerable,” “all women become the same after marriage,” “men are like this by nature,” “there’s no difference between men and soap — they can slip anytime,” and “men and women fight as they belong to separate species,” they criticize the other person’s flaws.
Finally, says Ahmed, “marriage is sure to become toxic for one, if not both,” and he adds that “even the strongest of partnerships can be weakened by doubt.” His final words in the trailer, “Two people get married to stay together and they do, they also reproduce together, first [child], second [kid], then where does the third [person] come from who persuades them,” create a lasting effect.
The trial broadcast for 101 Talaqain, which will air on Green Entertainment, will start in April. The upcoming series is created by Omer Ikram and produced by Auj Productions in collaboration with Multiverse Entertainment. Together with them, Usama Khan, Zubab Rana, Faris Khalid, Yasir Nawaz, and Navin Waqar also appear in it.
The upcoming Pakistani channel Green Entertainment, which will launch on Eidul Fitr, creates original entertainment.
